About the Artist
Darcy Big Horse is a Cheyenne and Arapaho designer and beadwork artist with Irish and English heritage whose work blends traditional Native craftsmanship with high-fashion aesthetics. She was raised in England and used beadwork as a way to stay connected to her Native cultures. Her beadwork has been recognised by various stylists and publications and gained her a reputation for intricate, whimsical wearable art.
Darcy debuted her first clothing collection in 2025 and paired hand-sewn couture alongside her beadwork to much acclaim with her work highlighted in various publications and was noted as ‘one to watch’ in media coverage of her work. She debuted a second collection during Indigenous New York Fashion Week 2025 and established a noticeable brand of slow made, romantic, one of a kind pieces.
